Who We Are
Habitat for Humanity is a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles. We put God’s love into action by building homes and communities. We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide. We encourage positive relationships throughout the community by advocating for fair housing policies and providing training to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.
What We Do
We partner with people in communities across the country to help them build or improve a place they can call home. Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and pay an affordable mortgage. With support from partner organizations and individuals, Habitat homeowners achieve the strength, stability and independence they need to build a better life for themselves and for their families. Habitat's Veterans Build program also provides new roofs and home repairs to veterans and their families.
